I thank my stars this Thanksgiving Day
For the many nice people that have crossed my path
Taught me a thing or two, to make me a better chap
Held my hands when I reached out
Given me words of comfort when I needed them
Am also thankful for the difficult times
That have given me this opportunity to grow,
And taught me to look back, and smile
